Sab’s INTRODUCTION
Hello English Fans, here’s today’s English FunLetter to help take YOUR English to the next level!
It was Valentine’s Day a couple of days ago, and the good news is… I got a Valentine’s Day card!
No, it wasn’t from my mum. No, it wasn’t from the cat. And NO, I didn’t send it to myself!
But if you didn’t get one, don’t worry: I love you, you know that, don’t you?!
I’m preparing for an art exhibition next week. It is on the theme of road safety and I am one of 102 artists who are showing their work.
I’ll show you my painting next week and you can tell me what you think.
My paintings are rather curious – they are made up of 9 squares in a 9×9 grid. They can be arranged in an infinite number of ways.
They are a bit like a jigsaw puzzle, but a very unusual one. Here is an example on the left.
You can see my latest paintings HERE on my Infinity² website.
What is YOUR favourite way of creating? Tell us in the Fun English Lessons Facebook group HERE.

IN OTHER NEWS…
It’s official – most of my English teaching is done online these days – and I LOVE it!
I was at a crossroads in my teaching career just before Covid struck.
I was in a dead-end job and I felt like I was going nowhere fast!
Then, when Covid came, we had to work from home, if possible.
I discovered this was a great way to teach, and my enthusiasm took off again.
Now there’s no turning back – I wouldn’t change this way of working for anything.
Although it is very nice to see real humans in the flesh from time to time!
*online (adj) – connected to computers, especially the internet
*strike (v) – to hit, to attack suddenly
*in the flesh (expr) – physically present, here in real life, not on video

PHOTO of the DAY
One of my passions is publishing photos and writing about Paris every day.
Here is today’s photo:
EXERCISE
Write about this photo in English.
What can you see?
Where do you think it is?
What time or season is it?
Can you see any people or animals?
What are they doing?
How do they feel?
Do you like the photo? Why or why not?
Would you like to be in the photo?
Where would you prefer to be?
Post your texts in our Fun Facebook Group here, and comment on other people’s posts.
Let’s make the English love go round!
